That is century of centuries!!. Yes! Sachin Tendulkar has till now scored 99 centuries in the International arena (51 in Tests and 48 in ODIs) and is just one short to complete the Hundred Hundreds.

Sachin as usual is in blistering form and has already scored two centuries in the world cup. We all know that Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar was awarded honorary rank of Group Captain of the Indian Air Force (IAF) this september. Tendulkar had a record here too!. Tendulkar was the first sportsperson to be conferred a rank by IAF and the first personality with no aviation background to receive the honor. At the same time Sachin had expressed his desire to ride Sukhoi.

"A proposal to fly Tendulkar in Sukhoi has been moved to the Ministry of Defence. It will materialise only after the ministry's approval, Sachin's consent and availability(Now in South Africa series)," Wing Commander S K Mehta, spokesman of the Indian Air Force (IAF) said.

Pune would be the opt for this historical event to take place. President of India Smt. Pratibha Devising Patil had also taken a ride of Sukhoi from the same place last Year.

Master Blaster Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar has scored his 51st Test Ton against South Africa on Day 3 & added 1 to his tally of 96 centuries. Now, the master has scored 97 centuries & is 3 away from his 100th century!.

Tendulkar's century came to India's rescue when it was needed the most!. Continuing from yesterday Gautam Gambhir & Sachin Tendulkar had to go through some hostile bowling by South African duo Dale Steyn & Morne Morkel. But both managed to survive till the Lunch as India were 237/4 at Lunch.

Soon after Lunch Gambhir was caught behind off left-arm slow bowler Paul Harris for 93 to end the partnership with tendulkar of 114 Runs, Gambhir certainly missed a well deserved century as he battled out 318 minutes and 223 balls with 12 fours

Laxman's was unfortunate as he lost the wicket just like the way kallis lost in the 1st innings of the 2nd Match. Tendulkars straight Drive was deflected by South African spinner Paul haris which hit the stumps when Laxman was well out of his crease.

Dhoni (0) & Pujara (2) were soon followed laxman to pavillion by some brillaint bowling by Steyn. Harbhajan is currently partnering Sachin to serve the rescue act.

This was tendulkars one of the best centuries (Ofcourse everyone of 'em are!). The temperment & determination showed why he his the best batsman in the world!.
