Bengaluru: Even though the Australian pacers got early wickets as predicted the Kenya middle order batsman bounced back and made if tuff for the Australian team to taste the sip of victory.
Earlier even though Austalia lost Watson in the earl overs Ponting and Haddin scored 89runs for the second wicket. After which Haddin and Ponting were dismissed one after the other. Haddin was dismissed by Kamande while Ponting was dismissed for an leg before by CO Obuya. Even White couldn't with stand the Kenyan bowling attack he was sent back to the pavilion after being bowled by Kamande. It was the teriffic partnership of Clarke and Hussey, who scored 114 runs for the fifth wicket which helped the Australian team to set up an target of 325 for the Kenya team.
Clarke(93 runs from 80 balls) missed out his century by seven runs, he smashed seven boundaries and a sixer. M Hussey scored (54runs from 43 balls) which consisted of four boundaries in it.
Odhiambo was the top wicket taker from the Kenya team, who took three wickets, while the skipper Kamande took two wickets. Obuya took a wicket.
The kenya lost their three wickets within the first ten overs which led them into pressure. It was CO Obuya and Mishra who batted well and scored 115 runs for the fourth wicket partnership and also made it hard for the Australian bowlers to get the wicket. After Mishra was dismissed even Odoyo batted brilliantly and managed to score 86 runs partnership for the fifth wicket with Obuya.

Mishra scored (72 runs from 89 balls) who scored eight boundaries and a sixer. Odoyo also batted well who scored (35 runs from 38 balls)with four boundaries and a sixer.
Even after stuggling very hard against the kenya team, the Australian bowlers managed to take only six wickets out of which two were run out. It was Tait who was the top wicket taker with only two wickets, While the fast express B Lee took only a wicket.
The Kenya team gave a good fight and made it very hard for the Australian team to win the match, which proves the improvement in the team.
