"I don't have any excuses to give, we did not bowl well, we did not field well. Fielding is one area where we can win a lot of matches, I am confident of my team and we will bounce back. Ross Taylor played a great innings, we are playing a World Cup against teams that have prepared well and we need to be more careful from here on."Afridi said.
"Ross' innings was one of the best innings that I have ever seen. We managed to pick wickets early that put pressure on them, and they did not manage to come back from there. The dew was a bit more than we actually thought, the outfield is slippery."Southee said.
"To have them six down in 20 odd overs was great, credit to our bowlers. The ball nipped around with the dew and with Razzaq playing the way he did, the bowlers found it difficult. Nathan and Jacob came in and supported me with the bat. Dan in our team meeting told us to pull our socks' and play to our potentials."Ross Taylor said.
