Mirpur : It took less than two hours for the West Indies to complete the match in Mirpur after bowling out Bangladesh for their lowest ever ODI total. The West Indian batsmen had an easy task, they just had to stroll to the wicket and knock off the runs and they did just that. Even before the lights took full effect, the game was done and dusted with.

Siddique(25) and Ashraful(11) were the only batsman who scored a double digit, as well they were the top scorers for the Bangladesh team.
Benn was the top wicket taker who took four wickets in six overs with an economy rate of 3.08, While Roach and Sammy took three wickets each with an economy rate of 3.16 and 3.00
Even though West Indies lost their first wicket in the first ball of the sixth over, West Indies batsman finished the game in the 13th over itself. Gayle scored (37 out of 44 balls) and remained not-out.
Islam took the wicket of Smith in the sixth over, no other bowler managed to take a wicket.
"It was a brilliant performance, Gayle wasn't feeling well, a special thanks to him for coming out and performing the way he did. We stuck to our lines and it paid off. It was good for me to be in the midst of the performances. We always fancy ourselves to win every game, it is all about performing well."Sammy said.
"We never thought we will bat so poorly, we have played good cricket over the last 12 months and this was a poor performance. We need to win 2 out of the last three games to qualify for the quarters, we need to play well. The anger that the crowd showed is acceptable, we now need to come back strongly."Shakib said.
"Glad to get my second Man of the Match award, looking forward to a third one the next time we come out to play cricket. It was a terrific performance, Benn bowled well and the batsmen performed pretty well too."Roach said.
