Team India won the fourth ODI of the Commonwealth Bank Series against Australia at Adelaide. Excellent batting performance from Gautam Gambhir and  the skipper MS Dhoni helped the Indian team to win the match by 4 wickets with 2 balls remaining. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first and scored 269 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In reply team India scored 270runs for the loss of 6 wickets with two balls left.


Australia lost their opener Ricky Ponting(6runs from 14 balls) in the fourth over of the match bowled by Vinay Kumar.  Australian skipper Clarke scored (38 runs from 43 balls) and was bowled by Yadav. Hussey (72 runs from 76 balls) was the top scorer from the Australian team. Forrest scored (66 runs from 83 balls).


Vinay Kumar and Umesh Yadav picked up two wickets while Zaheer Khan picked up a wicket.

India lost opener Virender Sehwag (20 runs from 21 balls) in the 10th over of the innings bowled by McKay. Kohli (18 runs from 28 balls) failed to score much runs for the team. Gambir scored (92 runs from 111 balls) was the top scorer for the match.  Excellent knock of 44 runs from 58 balls by the Indian skipper helped the team to win the match by 4 wickets.

McKay was the key bowler for the Australian team. McKay picked up three wickets. Doherty picked up two wickets while Harris picked up a wicket.
