Mahendra Singh Dhoni will not play the match against Sri Lanka on tuesday due to the ban of slow over rate. Dhoni is banned for the second time in the series. Dhoni was banned for one Test match after the slow over rate in the third Test match in Perth. Dhoni acknowledged that he had been kept informed of the position regarding over rates on a regular basis throughout the match and therefore accepted the decision.
Virender Sehwag led the Team in the absense of the MS Dhoni.
ICC match referee Andy Pycroft fined team India for slow over rate . The Indian skipper was fined 40 percent while the rest of the team mates were fined 20 percent fine.
