The World Cup Winning captain for team India Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that he wants someone else to replace him as a captain to lead team India. Team India lost both the Test series played against England and Australia by 4-0.
MS Dhoni said being a captain is an added responsibility and not a position that belongs to anyone. Am trying to do well, it's not a position I want to hold or stick on to. If there is a better replacement, it's an open job, he can come in and the place should be given to him.
Dhoni lost seven Test matches consecutively as a captain in foreign soil and even his batting performance is not up to the mark .Dhoni earlier had said he would retire from Test cricket in-order to focus and make himself available for the World Cup 2015.
Dhoni said it's two years to 2013. I don't know whteher I would still be alive! There would be IPL, Champions League, back-to-back series. It's not a calendar you can decide in advance or if there is a lot of rest.I would have to decide by 2013 but it's two years away. I can't say in 2014 that I am not playing next World Cup and give a player of 25-odd matches .

As a player, I am giving my 100 per cent. I am still doing what I was doing. Test cricket is real cricket, but I am not discarding other formats. Every format has its own challenges.
